Due professional care - Verifiers exercise care in accordance with the importance of the task they perform and the confidence placed in them by their clients and other interested parties.

Competent - Verifiers have been fully trained in the competencies necessary to complete their duties. They have sufficient resources and support to effectively complete their duties

Impartiality - Verifiers are independent of the activity being verified. They are impartial and free from bias and conflicts of interest.

Evidence based - Verifiers maintain an objective state of mind throughout the audit process to ensure that the verification is based only on evidence
